There
are many ways, some of them novel, to notch up the security of your loved ones
and property. The field
security & surveillance camera is used when
you need to use a wide sweep to monitor movements and doings, especially
outdoors. For situations where a higher level of security is required, an advanced
pro system may be necessary. Pro systems often have more night vision
capability and larger cameras are made with heavy-duty metal housings making
them ideal for businesses in higher crime areas. Some of them come with an auto
flip option, meaning that they rotate automatically when someone or something
passes underneath them. So the object or person remains upright when viewed on
the monitor.
Do not know what happens at your office or
business when you’re away? Use mini
security & surveillance cameras
to know what goes on behind your back. Some are compact enough to fit into a
large light socket. Others are small enough to fit into a wedge in the wall.
For
example, pinhole cameras are mini cameras with small lens openings enabling it
to be easily concealable or embedded into other gizmos or objects as a
concealed surveillance camera. On the other hand, the snake cameras are mini
cameras with a flexible but controllable body allowing them to be inserted into
holes and tight places where ordinary cameras could not be installed. The flip
side is that they do not have the 360 degrees rotation view that a normal PTZ
camera would have.
If
a camera is merely installed for general surveillance it may tell you what
happened but identifying a suspect would not be possible. For
business surveillance, recording your footage is highly recommended. Many
security systems come equipped with video output connectors that allow you to
connect to a VCR for recording. However, a digital video recorder (DVR) is a
much more efficient recording device.
